I can make this review very short by just saying that this is something you have to have in your collection! Not too much blabbering about how good and how catchy it is, just go and get your greasy hands on this release of BLIND DOG. It’s not every month I get a CD that easily can become my favorite CD of the year, well this one is certainly my number one I assure you. The next releases will have to be extremely good to top this one. If you’re into stoner, which style whatsoever, you’ll like this one for sure, these Swedes know how to rock!!! Another major plus is the way the numbers are composed and arranged, everything has its place and comes at the right time at the right place. BLIND DOG is heavy as hell without losing any feeling at all, the two singers balance each other out perfectly one being very raw and strong and the other one more sung and less shouted. Both the vocals are sublime and fit into the whole musical concept without giving a forced feeling, and it’s that natural feeling that makes BLIND DOG so special. It’s ideal music for cruising around the countryside with your windows down and the sun in your face preferably with a lot of dust flying in the air. I really looking forward to see these guys on stage one day, I suggest you do the same. The riffs are just perfect nothing less can be said... Certainly one of the best releases this year so far, put that in your pipe and smoke it! And yes a lot of people will bitch and moan over the fact that some parts have BLACK SABBATH and LED ZEPPELIN in it, hey which stoner band doesn't???!!!
